The purpose of an after action review is to analyze the management of or response to an incident, exercise, or event by identifying strengths to be maintained and built upon, as well as identifying potential areas of improvement. As improvement actions are identified and addressed, it is important that any relevant plans, policies, and procedures are updated accordingly.
